2 Days Loire Valley Tour. Immerse yourself in history and art: in royal intrigue and mind-blowing discoveries, in mysteries whose solutions are still missing to this day. And of course, we haven't forgotten to include the wines of the region on our to-do list! DAY 1 7:30 AM: Departure from Paris Pick up from your hotel. The guide will welcome you and provide general information about the Loire Valley and its history. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Château de Chambord Built between 1519 and 1547 by Francis I, Château de Chambord is the largest castle in the Valley. It is renowned for its open double-spiral staircase, possibly inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's sketches. 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Château d'Amboise Known as the "cradle of Kings" and the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci, Amboise was a grand royal residence of French kings in the 15th century. It exemplifies the transition from Gothic to Renaissance architecture. Explore its history using the Histopad for a time-traveling experience. 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Lunchtime 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM: Wine Tasting Enjoy a wine tasting session at a local family winery established since 1508. Sample a minimum of 7 wines and learn about the centuries-old winemaking traditions of the Loire Valley. A visit to the wine cave is available upon request. 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Château du Clos Lucé This castle was where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of his life, showcasing his genius and inventions. 6:00 PM: Arrive at the Château-hotel in Amboise DAY 2 08:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Château de Chenonceau Château de Chenonceau is the most visited and photographed chateau in the Loire Valley, spanning the Cher River with its stunning architecture and gardens. 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire Founded in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 15th century, Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire offers breathtaking views of the Loire River and its surroundings. 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Lunchtime in Blois city 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Château de Blois A masterpiece showcasing Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles, Château de Blois offers a glimpse into the royal life of the 16th century, restored in the 19th century. 7:30 PM: Arrival in Paris. Drop-off at your hotel. The 2 days full of castles and history are ending, but we look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in France.

By making a booking, you agree to the Cancellation policy and acknowledge that all services are provided as-is. 1. For cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure, we offer a full refund, less a 10% bank or payment service fee and a 15 % handling charge. 2. Non-Refundable Services • All services provided, whether in full or part, during your tour are strictly non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstance for failure to join the tour, unused tour bookings, any other services not utilized, or for a partially completed vacation. 3. Dissatisfaction and Personal Expectations • Dissatisfaction due to personal expectations, including but not limited to, the structure of the tour, the guiding approach, or the presence and conduct of tour guides, will not be considered a valid reason for a refund. 4. Cancellation by the Travel Agency • In the event of cancellation initiated by Tour Up In Europe, a full refund on the tours, including credit card fees, will be provided. 5. Adverse Weather Conditions • In the event that the Customer chooses to cancel any excursions or activities included in their contract with Tour Up In Europe due to adverse weather conditions, no refund or compensation will be provided for the affected arrangement or service. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.
