Taste of Palermo: We'll kick off our tour at the bustling Ballarò, an ancient city market—noisy, crowded, and full of life! Here, you'll find the tastiest Palermitan cheeses and sausages and have the opportunity to purchase excellent Italian spices. Immersed in the colors of Palermo, we'll stroll through hidden alleyways to a historical 19th-century restaurant. Here, you'll sample the famous spleen sandwich while I share stories about its origins and why rice balls are called arancini, and how they're served with sugar and chocolate. Then, near the Grand Theatre, you'll savor Sicilian cannoli with ricotta. 2. Palermitan Gastronomic Habits: It's easy to guess that Sicilians love to eat well and abundantly, so through their gastronomic tastes, you'll gain a deeper understanding of Sicilian history and traditions. You'll see that any Palermitan can stop for a quick bite on the street—plastic tables will show both ordinary workers and stylish ladies in high heels. After the tour, I'll happily recommend interesting local cafes where city residents go for an aperitif. By making a booking, you agree to the Cancellation policy and acknowledge that all services are provided as-is. 1. For cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure, we offer a full refund, less a 10% bank or payment service fee and a 15 % handling charge. 2. Non-Refundable Services • All services provided, whether in full or part, during your tour are strictly non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstance for failure to join the tour, unused tour bookings, any other services not utilized, or for a partially completed vacation. 3. Dissatisfaction and Personal Expectations • Dissatisfaction due to personal expectations, including but not limited to, the structure of the tour, the guiding approach, or the presence and conduct of tour guides, will not be considered a valid reason for a refund. 4. Cancellation by the Travel Agency • In the event of cancellation initiated by Tour Up In Europe, a full refund on the tours, including credit card fees, will be provided. 5. Adverse Weather Conditions • In the event that the Customer chooses to cancel any excursions or activities included in their contract with Tour Up In Europe due to adverse weather conditions, no refund or compensation will be provided for the affected arrangement or service. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.
