The chapel, memorial, and the Walls of the Missing, along with the garden, complete the site. The cliffs leading down to the beaches contain remnants of German defenses, including concrete casemates with memorials to the soldiers. Omaha Beach is one of the most popular destinations among the D-Day Beaches. 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Omaha Beach + Lunch 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM Pointe du Hoc Located between the two landing beaches of Omaha and Utah, Pointe du Hoc was a strategic observation post armed by the Germans in France during World War II. It was considered one of the most dangerous posts for the Americans’ invasion plans, equipped with six 155mm cannons capable of destroying anything landing on either beach. 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Utah Beach Utah Beach was the first beach stormed by the Allies on the morning of June 6, 1944. It was chosen to establish a beachhead in the Cotentin region to capture the town of Cherbourg and its deep-water port. 4:30 PM Departure to Paris The journey takes 3.5 hours (320 km), with a possible stop at a rest area along the way. 8:30 PM Return to Paris Drop off at your hotel. Dissatisfaction and Personal Expectations • Dissatisfaction due to personal expectations, including but not limited to, the structure of the tour, the guiding approach, or the presence and conduct of tour guides, will not be considered a valid reason for a refund. 4. Cancellation by the Travel Agency • In the event of cancellation initiated by Tour Up In Europe, a full refund on the tours, including credit card fees, will be provided. 5. Adverse Weather Conditions • In the event that the Customer chooses to cancel any excursions or activities included in their contract with Tour Up In Europe due to adverse weather conditions, no refund or compensation will be provided for the affected arrangement or service. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.
