Chablis Wine & Cheese Tasting Day Trip Embark on a delightful journey to Chablis, known as the “Golden Door of Burgundy,” and immerse yourself in the world of its renowned wines. 08:00 AM - Departure to Chablis Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Paris for the scenic 2-hour drive (180 km) to Chablis. 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Wine Tasting Experience We offer 4 wine tastings by some of the local Chablis wine producers with 20 wines: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru. The experienced sommeliers will give you all explanations about the process of wine making in Chablis and point out the differences between the Crus. Here are some recommended houses you may visit: Jean-Marc Brocard Domaine: known for its 60 hectares of certified organic farming, pioneering organic production in Chablis. Maison Régnard Chablis: established in 1860, one of the oldest and most prestigious Maisons in Burgundy. Gueguen: Internationally recognized for classic Chablis wines. Baptiste Bienvenue: offers tastings of Chablis and Irancy wines, paired with delicious local cheeses. La Chablisienne: awarded as the best wine producer in France at the International Wine & Spirit competition. 4:30 PM - Departure to Paris After a full day of exploration and tastings, relax on your return journey to Paris. 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Arrival in Paris Finish your day trip with drop-off at your hotel in Paris. Gastronomic Lunch Option: We can arrange a reservation for you at a local restaurant in Chablis village, ensuring you enjoy a delightful gastronomic experience amidst the vineyards.
Cancellation Policy
By making a booking, you agree to the Cancellation policy and acknowledge that all services are provided as-is. 1. For cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure, we offer a full refund, less a 10% bank or payment service fee and a 15 % handling charge. 2. Non-Refundable Services • All services provided, whether in full or part, during your tour are strictly non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstance for failure to join the tour, unused tour bookings, any other services not utilized, or for a partially completed vacation. 3. Dissatisfaction and Personal Expectations • Dissatisfaction due to personal expectations, including but not limited to, the structure of the tour, the guiding approach, or the presence and conduct of tour guides, will not be considered a valid reason for a refund. 4. Cancellation by the Travel Agency • In the event of cancellation initiated by Tour Up In Europe, a full refund on the tours, including credit card fees, will be provided. 5. Adverse Weather Conditions • In the event that the Customer chooses to cancel any excursions or activities included in their contract with Tour Up In Europe due to adverse weather conditions, no refund or compensation will be provided for the affected arrangement or service. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms and conditions.
